your character lineup has to be perfected in a sort.You need a certain balance of legend types including initiator, duelist, smoke and sentinel. Each type has their own quirks and sets of ability’s that give them their role in the team. The duelist of the team is normally the most skilled in 1v1 combat. The player with the best gun skills and fastest reaction time would play as the duelist. They need to be able to open site and allow a safe entry for the rest of the team. Reyna is the most common example of a duelist. Her healing and dismiss ability gives her the upper hand in a 1v2 situation. Her primary ability lets her throw a purple eye in the air to blind the enemy’s, once she throws her eye the team can entry and not worry about cross fire. The initiator is mostly a recon or scout player. Their ability’s allow us to see enemy locations behind walls, and obtain better intel of who is where on the map. As an initiator you must study the maps and all the sneaky locations for your ability’s. Using Sova as an example, his recon dart can be used to see enemy location from a distance and through walls. When used correctly, it can be shot in areas that scan more effectively based on their location. His second ability is a drone which he controls remotely. The drone can shoot the enemy with a teaching dart that scans them through walls. A smoke legend is a player who scatters smoke across the maps to close off certain peaking points for the enemy and give us a safer entry. You can mix smoke legends ability’s together or gives amazing potential. Taking viper for example, her smoke orb mixed with her venom molotov gives a lethal wall which can close off door ways or peaking points completely. Her ultimate ability allows her to cover most of the site in a cloud/bubble of toxic smoke that will gradually lower the enemy’s health to 1hp. Finally we have sentinel players, sentinel players are mostly there to fill spots and heal the team. Taking a legend like sage for example, she’s the primary healer in the game and gives the most support for the team. Her throwable slow orb will cover the ground in ice which cuts your speed in half making it harder to peak corner quickly. She also has a wall she can place that’ll stay up for 1 minute or until someone shoots through it.
